For one person, not a whole room
500W is a desk heater. Point it at your feet under a table, at your hands while you study, at your side of the bed. It will keep one person warm. It will not heat a bedroom, and we'd rather say that plainly than let you find out.
The cheapest heater to run that we sell
500W is half a unit an hour. A 1200W halogen is nearly two and a half times that. If you're sitting in one place for four or five hours in the evening, this is the one that doesn't frighten you when the bill comes.
Small enough to carry anywhere
Desk, study table, hostel room, shop counter, bedside. Light enough to pick up with one hand and move with you.
Safety
Overheat cut-out and flame-retardant housing. Still, like any heater, it isn't something to leave running unattended or to cover with cloth.
Quiet
Low enough to keep running while you work, study or sleep.

Common questions
Will it heat my bedroom?
No. 500W warms a person, not a room. For a bedroom you want the ceramic blower or the halogen heater.
How much does it cost to run?
Half a unit per hour. Multiply by your per-unit rate.
Can I run it on a UPS?
500W is still a heavy draw. Check your UPS rating before trying.
What if it stops working?
In the first 7 days, message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we replace it — the return costs you nothing.
